Does this ultrasound make my head look big?

Seriously, I need to know. Don't lie to me. Dr. Oz (actually, I have a different doctor, but her name is SO hard to pronounce and wouldn't it be SO cool if Dr. Oz was my doctor?) says it measured in the 95th percentile so it is most definitely not small. I can handle honesty, just don't be mean.

Anyway, this is my new blog. Isn't it cool?! What do you think of the layout? I can't recognize colors yet and can barely see more than 18 inches in front of my face, so please comment and let me know if it looks heinous. I am open to suggestions.

I'll be posting pictures and videos of myself here (I know, self-absorbed much?) for you to check out so you can follow my development over the internet. I might even post some with my parents but that is still TBD.

To all of my subscribers, WELCOME! I hope you get as much enjoyment reading my blog as I do writing it :) BTW - I have an open-house party for friends and subscribers ever night at my womb around 10pm (or whenever mom tries to go to bed) so feel free to stop by. As always, it is BYOB, so if you want to drink it you better bring it. There are only about 6 weeks of said parties left before we shut the place down, so stop by sooner rather than later.

To close each post, I'm going to write a current list of things I'm into right now and things I'm totally not into. Later.....

SO into:
  • Kicking
  • Punching
  • Sleeping
  • Noise of any kind
  • Floating
  • Starbucks

SO not:
  • Stillness
  • Spicy foods (OH, the heartburn!)
  • Cramped spaces
  • The Yankees (permanent on my "SO not" list)

This blog is great!!!

And yes, your head looks enormous, MVP. When you're growing up, kids will walk around saying, "You couldn't hit the broad side of Maddie's head!" Floats in parades will make you feel at home. Tootsie Roll pops will make you feel self-conscious.

But it's okay. Because you have the funniest, nicest parents of any kid I've ever known. (Not that I know a lot of kids. But it's the sentiment that counts.)

Hi Maddie! We are soooooooooo happy to see you--you're beautiful and talking too! Ultrasounds are really tricky. When you're outa there your Daddy will be taking most of the pictures and he will learn to accentuate the positive. Your Mommie will let you know if your head's too big shortly after you get here. Have fun in there! xoxoxo Mimi

Maddie I guess now is the time to tell you that Cedar will be saying things to you that will make you want to both laugh and cry at the same time. This may be confusing for you, but I'm pretty sure I can teach you my own scorching wit within the first 1-2 years of life. We'll show her. Especially once you're 18 and I can tell you the really good stuff.

Maddie, I am so thrilled to read your blogs. Your head is beautiful. Yes, it is large like your daddy's but just consider his intelligence, and know that you will be equally if not more brainy than he is. Your Pops will take care of anyone who dares to make fun of your head! He might get knocked to the ground when he does, but he would go down trying for your sake. We love reading your thoughts and updates. Don't be too hard on Mommy's insides. Remember you could break her rib with some of those kicks. We soooo look forward to your arrival and will be out to visit and welcome you into the family. Love Grammie Poppish and POPS!

Maddie - how in the world do you know the name of Oprah's hair stylist?
